Picture Perfect

Daddy always asks me "Are you cute?" and I'll say "Yes, I am!" Then he'll ask "Did God make you?" and I'll say "Yes, He did!" Mommy took this picture at just the right moment. I think it's her favorite at the moment.

Funny Daddy

Daddy is so funny. He was making me laugh so hard today. Mommy wanted to catch me on camera laughing, but (of course) I stopped once she got the camera out. I love my Daddy. He's so fun.

Trick or Treat

I wasn't too sure about the whole "trick or treat" thing. Thought it was a little weird to go knock on people's doors at nighttime, but after about 5 or 6 houses I didn't want to stop. I kept telling Mommy "one more house." It was so much fun. Mommy even let me eat a couple pieces of candy. Yummy!

Halloween Party

Tonight we went to the White's for a Halloween Party. It was fun to play with friends. I wasn't too sure about the whole costume thing. I only put mine on when Daddy bribed me with pumpkin pie. Once again it was hard to get a good picture of all of us, but we're a pretty cute bunch. From left to right is Zach, Kylie, Tessa, Nathaniel and me!

Pumpkin Patch!

After Mommy got off of work today, we went to the Pumpkin Patch. I was so excited to finally go. Every time we drive by it I exclaim "pumpkins!" I got to pump water, go on the hay ride, see lots of pumpkins, sit on a tractor, and pet some farm animals. The hay ride was so much fun I made Mommy go twice. Thanks for taking me!

BACKHOE!

Grandpa & Grandma's next door neighbor is rebuilding a fence and leveling their front yard, so this week they've had a backhoe in their front yard to help with the digging. I was so excited when I got to Grandma's and saw the backhoe next door! I love construction stuff, especially backhoes. It's pretty much all I talk about right now. Most days, my spoon also becomes a backhoe when I'm eating (my mouth is the dump truck). Even as I'm going to sleep I'll talk about them. "Backhoe scoops up dirt, dumps it out, into dump truck..."

Popsicle Time

Today Mommy and I had popsicles after my nap. It was in the 90's today, so we needed something refreshing to cool us off. Mommy made these herself with yogurt and fruit, so they're actually good for you too, not that I would know the difference. So yummy!

Cooking Pancakes With Mommy

Today I helped make pancakes with Mommy. I helped put ingredients in and stir (although I ate more than I stirred). Then I got to help flip the pancakes and put them on a plate. They were sure yummy! I like cooking with Mommy.

More Fun Climbing With Daddy & Marc

Today I went climbing with Daddy & Marc. We had fun. It was Marc's first time climbing and he did great. It was fun to have him with us.

Jumping Over Daddy

This one is pretty self explanatory. I had fun jumping over Daddy this evening. Sometimes we just have to find creative things to do with ourselves. :) Pretty cool huh?

Climbing With Dadddy & Matt

Today I went climbing with Daddy and Matt. Daddy wanted me to try out the harness he got me a few months ago. It was fun. I did great the first time I went up, then got a little tired, so it was more frustrating. But I DID IT! Daddy was very proud of me. Thanks for taking me climbing with you today Daddy!

Welcome Home Marc!

We went to the Santa Barbara airport today to welcome home our friend Marc. He's been in Afghanistan for the past 6 months serving with the U.S. Air Force. We've missed him lots while he's been gone. Most of our church and lots of friends showed up to welcome him home. It was amazing. Even the news people were there. Daddy was hoping we'd get on TV, but we didn't. Guess we were standing too close to them. We did see Mommy on it though.

Marc ~ we are so glad you are home!





Mommy & Shelley (Marc's wife) spent last night making a ton of cupcakes and turning them into a flag. I even got to help put the papers in the muffin tins and then Mommy let me lick a spatula. So yummy! I think the cake turned out great. It was hard to resist eating it, but I was good and waited until Marc saw it before I indulged.
