We went to the Santa Barbara airport today to welcome home our friend Marc. He's been in Afghanistan for the past 6 months serving with the U.S. Air Force. We've missed him lots while he's been gone. Most of our church and lots of friends showed up to welcome him home. It was amazing. Even the news people were there. Daddy was hoping we'd get on TV, but we didn't. Guess we were standing too close to them. We did see Mommy on it though.Marc ~ we are so glad you are home!
Mommy & Shelley (Marc's wife) spent last night making a ton of cupcakes and turning them into a flag. I even got to help put the papers in the muffin tins and then Mommy let me lick a spatula. So yummy! I think the cake turned out great. It was hard to resist eating it, but I was good and waited until Marc saw it before I indulged.
