Guitar Cast

I was being so silly tonight and was pretending my cast was a guitar! Hey, you have to make having a cast on your leg fun somehow!

Play Time With Sidney

Today Sidney came over and played with me. We had fun playing in the water.

Water Playtime

Today Daddy stopped by Rite Aid for something and found this great cast cover. Now I can play in water or take a bath and still keep my cast dry. Yeah! Thanks Daddy!

My New Cast

Today we went and saw Dr. McGuire. He looked at my leg and put on a cool new BLUE cast on my leg. I got to choose the color af of course, I choose blue, since it's my favorite color. First they put on some padding and then the cast. It feels so much better now that it's on and my leg is more stable. He said I could walk whenever I want to now, so we'll see about that.

A Day Spent Sitting

On Sunday, I couldn't really do anything, since my leg was splinted, but not yet in a permanent cast. I got to watch lots of cartoons and sit on the couch most of the day. Daddy's friend, Kevin, came over and brought me a donut to help cheer me up. Thanks Kevin - it was yummy!

We did venture over to Tessa's birthday party, since I had been looking forward to it all week. I didn't really do much though. Just sat in my stroller and played with some toys with Mommy.

While we were gone, Patricia dropped by her wagon for us to borrow. Later on, Daddy took me for a wagon ride around the neighborhood. I was so excited to get out and go for a ride.

I slept on the couch a lot, because it was more comfy than my bed. Hopefully the Doctor will fix me up tomorrow, so I can play again.

Bummer - A Broken Leg!

Today I was playing at the park with Grandpa and I slipped off the rings and fell about 3 feet. Not far for me! I've jumped off much higher places before, but this time my leg really hurt! Grandpa carried me all the way back to his house, while pulling my tricycle and he called Mommy to come home. We all went to the ER and had them x-ray my leg. My right tibia was broken. They put a temporary splint on it and we'll have to go to the doctor on Monday to get a permanent cast. Hopefully it will heal really fast and I'll be back to my normal self again soon.

SeaWorld - Day 2

Today it was raining lightly when we got to SeaWorld, so we wore our raincoats and brought an umbrella. We went to several exhibits we didn't get to yesterday and then I wanted to see the sharks and penguins one more time before we headed home. By the time we got to the penguins it was pouring rain. We all got soaked, but it was fun! I can't wait to go back again sometime!

SeaWorld - Day 1

This weekend Mommy & Daddy took me to SeaWorld for the first time. I had so much fun! It took forever to get there, but it was worth it. We stayed in a hotel close by, so after breakfast we headed over to SeaWorld to be there when it opened. It rained (lighty) off and on all day, until about 4 when it started to pour. So we got most of a day in before we headed back to the hotel after we got soaked. By then I was tired and ready for a nap anyways.

We saw penguins, sharks, dolphins and all sorts of other sea life. The first show we went to was Sea Lions Live. It was funny.

Next it was on to the Shamu Show. They jumped really high and got lots of people in the first rows all wet!

After that I helped Mommy and Daddy find our next stop by reading the map.

Then I got to play at the Sesame Street Bay of Play. This is an area made just for kids. I got to go on my first rides - Oscar's Rocking Eel, Elmo's Flying Fish & Abby's Sea Star Fun.

They also had fun places for me to play. A big climbing net, with bridges and tunnels, a bounce floor, and swinging bags that I could run through and swing around.

After we saw the California Bat Rays, I was wet from petting them , so Daddy gave me one of his layers. Somehow my jacket got left in the car, so I had no spares to wear. Mommy thought I looked like one of the seven dwarfs, whoever they are! I held Mommy's hand wherever we went.

Later on we saw one last show before it started to rain - Pet's Rule! They rescue animals and then train them to be in the show. There were dogs, cats, ducks and even a pig! They did some pretty fun tricks.

My favorite part of SeaWorld was the Shark Encounter. After you looked at the sharks from above, the path took you down and through a see through tunnel where they swam OVER you! I thought that was so cool. I made Mommy & Daddy go through it several times while we were there.
