Last Day of Snow Camping

Our last day camping. Today we are packing up to go home. We had a great time!

As Daddy was packing up, I was  having fun playing with our hand warmers. Who needs toys?

Snow Camping Day 2

This morning we made a fire and warmed up a bit.

We went snow shoeing, well maybe more like ice shoeing.

Daddy & I did some slip sliding on the ice. Daddy also brought the saucer, so we could do some sledding.

Snow Camping!

After school yesterday Daddy & I left to head up north for our snow camping adventure.  We stayed the night at Ryan's house and then headed out to our camping spot the next morning. I wasn't feeling very good Friday night, so we weren't sure we would be able to go, but I perked up enough this morning that we decided to venture out into the wilderness.  Here we are at our campsite.

It was sure cold outside! Here I am filtering some water for us to drink.

Field Trip - Monarch Butterflies!

Today my Kindergarten class went to see the Monarch butterflies out on the Ellwood bluffs. Daddy & Andrew also came with us.
