Operation Christmas Child

Our church participates in Operation Christmas Child. They send Christmas gifts to kids in other countries that would not usually get a Christmas gift. They also share about Jesus Christ with the kids. This year Mommy & Daddy decided it would be good for us to fill a shoebox for a child. We decided to fill a box for a 2-4 year old boy. We went to KMart one night and I got to pick out a few toys, a card game, a toothbrush, toothpaste, some school/art supplies and a T-Shirt. We paid for our shipping on-line, so we'll get to know where our box was sent to. It will be fun to see where it ends up. I hope the boy that gets my box loves what I picked out for him. If you want to know more about this, go to www.samaritanspurse.org/occ - if you scroll down to the videos and multimedia, you can see what it's all about.

Here's a picture of all the boxes our church put together - all 49 of them.
