The Country Fair

This morning we went to the Country Fair. I got to play some golf, basketball and go fishing. It was a little overwhelming for me because there was a ton of people, but we got to eat some yummy fruit when we were done playing and shopping.

Hume Lake!

This weekend I got to go to Hume Lake for the first time. It was so much fun! Shelley invited us to come up with her and Mommy decided to brave and go. I am so glad she did. I got to play in the lake, feed duckies, go to the Country Fair, a concert, play with Amy (Jeannine's doggie), and ride in a golf cart! I even met some new friends. What a blast! Thank you Shelley for inviting us!

Balloon Jumping

Yesterday it was the 3rd anniversary of our church starting, so we had a party after the service and Peggy gave me this fun balloon as we were leaving. I discovered today that it is fun to jump off the couch and see if I can catch it. I think I must have done this at least a dozen times.

Bucket of Fun

How fun is this? A bucket filled with water and bubbles! It was fun to get in, sit down and watch all the water and bubbles run out of the bucket. Doesn't get much better than this!

Daddy's Triathlon

Today I went with Mommy, Shelley and Grandpa down to East Beach to watch Daddy in his Sprint Triathlon. We had to get up really early to get down here by 7am. He swam, biked and ran. Here he is on the final stretch towards the finish line. He did great! He came in 6th in his age group. I think that's amazing! GO DADDY!

Happy Birthday Mommy!

Today is Mommy's birthday! We started out the morning with jumping off the coffee table onto some pillows. So fun! Then our friends and family came over for breakfast. It was so yummy. Daddy and Uncle Chris cooked eggs, bacon & pancakes and Grandma brought her yummy cinnamon pull-a-part bread. What a treat! I hope you had a great day Mommy! I love you!

Sledding ~ Santa Barbara Style

Today I went sledding with Daddy ~ Santa Barbara Style! No need for snow here. Just get a plastic saucer and a big hill covered in pine needles. So fun!

A Round Of Golf!

Daddy & I also played some golf while we were at the park today. We had fun hitting balls. Daddy even hit one in the tree and it got lost. We couldn't find it. Sure was fun though!

Happy Anniversary Mommy & Daddy!

Today was Mommy & Daddy's 8th anniversary. I helped surprise Mommy with a beautiful ring by dressing up and meeting her at her car when she got home from work. I gave her the ring and a card from Daddy. She thought I was adorable.

A Funny Way To Sleep!

I've been waking up really early lately, so Daddy decided that he would take me with him on his run this morning. Funny thing is I didn't get up!
So he came in my room to see if I was awake and found me sleeping this way. Mommy says she used to sleep this way as a kid too, so I guess I get it from her. If my Great Grandpa Shaffer was still around he'd say "My kingdom for a board" if he saw me with my tushy up in the air like this. (At least that's what Mommy says).

Good Night Shelley!

Shelley came over tonight and had dinner with us. Then it was time for me to go to bed, so I made her read me my bed time story. It was fun to have her over. Thanks for helping me get settled in for bed!

Visit From My Cousin Carson

My Cousin Carson, Aunt Michelle and Uncle Mark came to visit us in Santa Barbara this week. I had fun playing with them over at Grandma & Grandpa's house. I was a little jealous of Carson at first because of all the attention he was getting, but then I got used to it and had fun. He's almost 7 months old right now. I think we'll have lots of fun playing together as we grow up.
