My Leprechaun Trap

My homework assignment this past week was to make a Leprechaun trap.  We took an empty pretzle container and decorated it the way I thought a Leprechaun would like it.  We made a rainbow and I used lots of glitter glue to make it sparkly. I also made gold to tempt the Leprechaun to come up our ladder and fall in.  We set our traps up at school in hopes to catch one.

The next morning when I came to school the Leprechaun's messed up our classroom, turned over chairs, left green footprints on the windows, and left us treats.  None of us caught any leprechaun's though! Maybe next year.

Bed Time

Getting ready for bed with Andrew.  Then he crawled into bed with me, but Mommy made him go to his own room after a little while, since he wouldn't stay still.

Happy 5th Birthday Tessa!

We went to Tessa's birthday party today. We had a great time playing in the tree fort and eating cake!

Dr. Suess Day at School

Today was Dr Suess day at school.  We had a read in after an assembly.  Someone also came and ready a book to us. We got to bring our sleeping bags, blankets, books, and a stuffed animal for reading time.  Mommy also came and read with me for a while.

 We even got to eat some green eggs and ham. I made a sandwich out of my ham and crackers. Yum!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Today is Daddy's birthday! He opened presents from us and then went out to breakfast with Nana and Aunt Stephanie. We also went out to dinner to celebrate.

Happy 9th Birthday Kylie!

Today we celebrated Kylie's 9th birthday! She had an American Doll / Luau party. We enjoyed lunch, snow cones and yummy cake.

Kylie smashed some cake in her face (with the help of some friends of course).

Leave it up to the boys to find weapons to play with!

Hike to the Beach

Today we hiked out to see the butterflies at the end of Coronado Drive (Ellwood) and kept going until we got to the beach.  Andrew & I had fun getting wet. Of course, I was a little cold coming back.

I was so tired, Daddy carried me for a while. That was sure nice of him.

Leya Learned to Ride a Bike / Jumping off the Play Structure

Sammy & Leya came over today to play for a while.  Daddy decided to teach Leya how to ride a bike without training wheels and she did it!  Awesome! Good job Leya!

Then I decided to jump off the roof of my play structure. Yeah, probably not the best thing to do, but it was fun!

Matching Jammies

Andrew and I have matching PJ's and I love to wear the same ones as him sometimes.  The funny thing is, our cousins Carson and Tucker also have the same jammies. Too bad they live so far away, otherwise we could take a picture of all 4 of us together.

Super Bowl 4 Miler

Today Daddy & I raced in the Super Bowl 4 Miler, along with our friends, Mark, Zach & Roger.  I started out really well, but then got tired and walked.  Mommy even joined us on part of the race to try and motivate me.  Then Daddy actaully carried me for a bit, but we did finish!  I think I'd do better if it was a bike race!

Box Boy

I had Mom cut holes in this big box, so I could pretend to be a robot. I love playing with boxes.
