My First Day of Kindergarten

Today was my first day of Kindergarten!  I'm so excited to be in Kindergarten!

I biked to school, while Daddy & Mommy walked and Andrew was in the stroller.

We went over to Staci & Sasha's house before school, prayed with them and then walked to school together.
I'm so glad I have friends already at my new school.

First we went to our classroom and hung up our backbacks outside on a hook.

Here I am in front of the door to my classroom.  My teacher is Mrs. DeLaney.

Then we went out to the playground to play until the whistle blew.
Kindergartners have a playground all to themselves.

Once the whistles blow, we have to line up on our class line.
When we're all ready, our teacher leads us to our classroom.

I'm excited to have Staci in the same class as me.  My other friend, Sasha is also in Kindergarten, but he's in another classroom nearby. There are 3 classes of Kindergarteners here at Brandon this year.

Once we got to our room, we sat down in a square on the rug to listen to our teacher.

Here's Daddy looking a little sad about me being big enough to be in Kindergarten.  Where did the time go?

We learned about our new school today. At lunch I even saw Mrs. McCoy from our church. She works here too!  It's so nice to see familiar faces.  After school today, we went outside, got our backpacks and waited to be picked up.

I had a good day today!  I think I'm going to like Kindergarten!

My Cool Fort

I made this cool fort today all by myself!  Well almost anyway.  Daddy helped me finish it up, since I was having trouble getting the roof to stay on. Overall I think I did a great job though!

Lake San Antonio

We had a blast at the lake today. Playing with friends in the water, going for boat rides, and even riding a tube behind the boat! It was a great day.

All tuckered out after a fun day at the lake!  I slept all the way home!

Oh Deer!

Today we went up to Lake San Antonio with some friends from Oaks Bible Church.  When we first got there we saw deer.  They were so friendly. They like Wheat Thins too!

After feeding the deers, we set up camp. I'm so excited to sleep in a tent tonight and have S'mores.

M.D.'s Quote of the Day

Mommy, when my tummy hurts it's because I'm hungry.  (Mommy said, 'Yes, sometimes'.) Well, my tummy is lobbying for food right now.

Legoland Day 2

We came back to Legoland for a 2nd day!  Yippee!  I wanted to go straight to the water park, but Mommy and Daddy wanted to go on a ride or two first.  So we went on The Dragon!  My first roller coaster.  Mommy thought I might be scared, but I loved it.  And since we did the parent switch again, I got to go twice!  Very fun. Unfortuately we didn't get very good pictures.  It was too dark where you got on.

Afterwards, we watched part of a skit, had some ice-cream and it was off to the water park.
Yeah, more water slides! They also have a wading pool with water guns you can shoot at people in the tower above.  Every few minutes it also dumps a ton of water on everyone.

It wasn't long before I was willing to wait in line and go down the slides all by myself.  Don't worry, Mommy and Daddy could still see me as I went up to the top.

I had a blast at Legoland! I wish we could have stayed longer.  Hopefully we'll get to go back soon!

We were really tired after a weekend full of fun!  Nothing like sleeping during a long car ride...

Legoland!

Yeah! Legoland!  I'm so excited!
Our first stop inside Legoland - the Volvo Driving School!

Then Mommy and I went on Captain Cranky's Challange.  I'm surprised Mommy didn't get sick (she doesn't do spinning very well).

I got my swim suit on and played in Soak-N-Sail for a while. Then Daddy and I went on Splash Battle.
We even got Mommy & Andrew wet as they watched!

People watching the ride can shoot back.  So fun!

After playing at the Castle Hideaway (kind of like Kid's World), we went to the Lost Kingdom Adventure. Legoland does this cool thing, where if you have a kid with you (like Andrew) that's not tall enough to go on a ride, you can do a parent switch. So I rode with Mommy, then we did a parent switch and I got to go again with Daddy.  No extra waiting, just get to go again!  Awesome!

Then we went to the Water Park. Once we all had our suits on Daddy, Andrew and I went on the lazy river.

Then it was on to the BIG slides. Daddy went down first and waited for me at the bottom for when I came down next.  I loved it!  You could not keep me away from the slides.  I was really patient waiting in line or my turn. Mommy even went with me one time.

Before we left for the evening we wandered through Mini Land.

This was my favorite scene - Pirates (of course!)

SeaWorld

Today we went to SeaWorld.  We saw penquins, dolphins and Shamu!  I almost got brave enough to go on the big rollercoaster, but changed my mind when we got inside the park.  Maybe next time! I had lots of fun at the Sesame Street Bay of Play and wanted tosed the entire day there.  We took a break in the middle of the day and went back to the hotel to rest. Daddy took me to the pool while we were there too.  We went back to Seaworld later and saw the night Shamu show and fireworks!

Here's the firework show.

Tomorrow we are going to Legoland and I can't wait!

Legoland Here We Come!

This week I went to Soccer Vacation Bible School. They even gave us our own soccer ball to keep.  It was fun, once I warmed up to the idea everyday.  Two of my friends, Zach and Nathanial also went, but we were on different teams.

Mommy and Daddy have been working hard all week to get our house ready to be fumigated.  We found out we have termites, so we have to get rid of them before they eat our house.

After camp today, they picked me up and we drove to San Diego. Yeah, Legoland here we come!
