A Haircut For Me & Daddy

Daddy & I gave each other haircuts today. I had fun cutting Daddy's hair. I wanted it to look just like mine. I think Daddy was a little worried, but I did a pretty good job I think.

Pillow Head Solo

I was being so silly this morning. I put a pillow on my head and and was singing and playing my guitar. Both Mommy and Daddy were laughing so hard. I even laughed at myself when I saw the video.

Swim Lessons

For the past 2 weeks I've been going to swim lessons at Dos Pueblos High School. There were 3 other boys in my class. The first week I didn't really like it. The pool is just TOO BIG (Olympic size)! It made me a little nervous. I like smaller pools better. I had a hard time participating and just waited until the moment they told me I was done. The second week I liked it so much better. I got in the pool on my own and participated in everything the teachers asked of me. I was learning to go under water, to kick, to push off the side of the pool, to float, and to jump in. I was so bummed the last day when lessons were canceled because of too much ash in the pool. (There is yet another fire up North - in Santa Maria - and it's blowing down here - lucky us!). Mommy had even brought the camera to take some pictures, but unfortunately we didn't get any. Maybe next year! I sure do like the water!

Chasing Each Other & Hugs From Grandpa

This evening we had fun chasing each other around Grandma's house. We would go through the living room, into the kitchen and out the sewing room. It makes one big circle. When we went past Grandpa, we would run to him and get a big hug. It was so much fun. I think we could have done this all night.

Sorry this video is so dark. Not really a good time of day to take a video when the sun was almost down and the house was dark. Mommy tried to lighten it up, but it saved it as a strange file and blogger won't upload it. Bummer!

Fiesta!

This morning Mommy & I got up and went to Grandpa & Grandma's house and we headed down to Alameda Park for the pancake breakfast at Fiesta. The pancakes sure were yummy. One of mine was even in the shape of Mickey Mouse! Aunt Michelle broke a confetti egg on Carson's head and put some confetti on me too. One of Uncle Mark's friends was there too, so we sat with them.

More Fun at Grandpa & Grandma's

We had fun playing with golf balls, chasing each other and finding things to drum on. Then Daddy tried to take Grandma's picture. Guess she's not a fan of having her picture taken, so she tried to hide. Silly Grandma!

Playing At My House

Carson came over to my house this morning to play. We had fun in my play house and in the sand box. He had fun opening the shutters and saying "Hi!" to Mommy & Grandma. Mommy also made us blueberry pancakes for breakfast. Thanks for coming over to my house to play!

Playing with My Cousin Carson

My cousin Carson, Aunt Michelle and Uncle Mark came down from Washington to visit for a few days. I haven't seen them since they came to visit last summer. Carson has gotten so big and he can walk and run around now, so it's lots of fun to play with him. We had a great time together. I wish he could stay longer, but I'll enjoy the few days we get to play together.

My First Tube Ride

I went tubing for the first time today. Daddy went with me first and then after a little while Mommy joined us on the tube. I thought it was fun as long as there weren't any bumps. When we went over some I said, "No more bumps please." Slow and smooth is good for me.

More Lake Fun

Today we went back to the beach with everyone before heading home today. I can't wait to go back again next year. I told Mommy I want to come back to watch the boys in the rings (tubing). They were fun to watch. The Oaks Bible Church youth are pretty fun to be around. They found this dummy while out and about in the boat and you can see how silly they were with it. Someday that will be me!

My First S'Mores

I got to make my first s'more tonight. Hmmm...yummy! I roasted my marshmallows and Mommy put them on a graham cracker with chocolate. 3 of my favorite things to eat. It doesn't get much better than this! After our fun dessert, I got to sleep in a tent and in my own sleeping bag for the first time. That was fun too. I like camping.

Lake San Antonio!

Today went drove up to Lake San Antonio to go camping! We got there after lunch and then headed to the Lake to meet up with friends from church. The Brock's picked us up in their boat at the marina and took us over to the beach where everyone was at. I was a little hesitant to get in the water at first, but once in, you couldn't drag me out! I had so much fun.

After a while, I was really comfortable being in the lake and I had fun running down the sandy beach, into the water to Daddy. I didn't get a nap today, but how could I? I would have missed out on something fun.
