Painting With Friends

Mommy & I went over to Leya and Sammy's house this morning to play and to paint. Only thing is I didn't want to paint. Leya just got a new kitchen for her birthday and that was much more interesting to me. Sorry Mommy! Maybe next time. Thank you Patricia for getting the stuff for us to paint with. PS Sammy - You're not suppose to eat the paint!

Boom Boom Right In The Bush!

Today I was riding my tricycle in the driveway. I am such a crazy driver! I love to steer myself into the bushes. Maybe I should wear a helmet and some shoes next time. So much fun!

Daddy's Time Trials

Papa & I went to watch Daddy in his time trial today. It starts at Stow House and end by our house at Dos Pueblos High School. He rides really fast!

Welcome Baby Paysen!

My new cousin Paysen Douglas Lowe was born today. We went down to the hospital to meet him tonight, but I couldn't go in, so I stayed with Papa and Mommy & Daddy got to meet him. He's pretty cute (from the photos anyways). I can't wait to play with him and teach him things. I'm even going to share my toys with him. We'll have lots of fun together. Congratulations Aunt Stephanie, Uncle Chris and big sister Madisen!

Butterflies Alive!

Today we went to the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History to see the butterflies. Every year they have an exhibit called Butterflies Alive! There are tons of butterflies in an enclosed area for people to look at. They have charts available to match the butterflies, so that you know what kind it is. I liked trying to match the butterflies to the chart. Then Daddy & I put our heads in the cutouts, so we became butterflies too! I also got to pretend to be a catapiller. The museum is a fun place to go.

Chicken Little

Daddy found a bird in our backyard today. He went around to our neighbors houses to find its owner, but no one claimed him. One neighbor let us borrow a cage for him and another gave us some bird food. Daddy & I call him Chicken Little. I love the bird. He is fun to play with. I am gentle with him and even give him kisses. He loves to sit on my firetruck. I will miss him when he goes home.

Riding Opa's Scooter

Daddy took me down to the park on Opa's scooter today. Daddy brought it home during the fire and hasn't taken it back yet. It's fun to ride around the neighborhood.

I'm 3! Happy Birthday to Me!

Tonight we went out to California Pizza Kitchen for my birthday. Mommy signed me up, so that I got a free dinner, complete with a yummy sundae that had m&m's on top! It was the best part of dinner. In fact it was so good, I had to drink the melted part when I was done. Can you believe I'm actually 3?

Gymnastics - One Last Time

Today we took Papa to see me at gymnastics. I did great today and participated in everything that I was supposed to. I was happy to have Papa there to see what I've been doing lately.

It was my last day at gymnastics though. I haven't been participating as much as I should have, so Mommy & Daddy decided we'd try something else. I think I'll be doing swim lessons next, so stay tuned.

Kid's World

Today we went down to Kid's World for lunch with Papa, Uncle Chris, Aunt Stephanie, Madisen & Jordan. I had fun playing on the structure with Madisen, Papa & Daddy.

My New Kitchen Toys

I am having so much fun playing with my new microwave, pizza and food that I was given for my birthday. It's fun to "heat" up the food in the microwave and give it to Papa. He pretends it's hot which makes me laugh and then I'll go heat it up some more. I enjoy cutting my vegetables, fruit and pizza and then serving it to whomever is around. The food is already in pieces and velcros together, so I can cut it apart.

Isn't Papa Silly? I have so much fun playing with him. Now I know where Daddy gets it from.

Happy Birthday To Me! I'm 3! (well almost)

Today I had people over to celebrate my 3rd birthday. It was a construction theme and Daddy was the Foreman. I got to help Shelley and Mommy finish decorating my birthday cake by putting the "dirt" on the cake. Hmmm yummy! It was really hard to resist eating it before my friends arrived.



Looks like everyone loved my cupcake cake. Mommy made them extra special by baking chocolate chip cookie dough into the middle of them.

Daddy helped me open my presents. I received lots of fun stuff to play with and some clothes to wear.

We had a lot of fun. Papa really enjoyed decorating our house with construction caution tape. Daddy did a great job cooking lunch. Shelley was super helpful getting stuff set up too. Thank you to everyone who made my day really special. Just 2 more days and I'll be 3!
